A SHINING ATTRIBUTE by Candyce Rusk
Sunday, October 28 at 6:30pm
State Theatre, 719 Congress Ave.
A Shining Attribute was staged as a solo piece (starring Amanda Yilmaz, directed by Debbie Carriger) at Fronterafest in 2010, winning best of the week. The short play is set in Boston’s notorious Combat Zone, a once thriving adult entertainment district, and focused on the life of Bijou, a strip tease artist. This latest version of the play is expanded to three characters, with actors playing multiple roles. Your feedback is most welcomed.
