Woodstock Fringe is a professional performing arts organization dedicated to developing, encouraging, presenting and promoting new and experimental theatrical and musical works, including plays, performance art and opera. We serve as a creative home to emerging and established playwrights, composers, writers, poets, performers, directors, and designers. It is our belief that the act of creation is an act of courage. We seek to provide a safe harbor for creative artists to share their work, collaborate with fellow artists, gain exposure to audiences, find support from peers, and connect to a community rich in all the arts. We achieve this through our professional productions employing skilled performers, supported by other theatre professionals, who together pursue the highest standard of the live performing arts.

Seeking Scripts for The Pacific Playwrights Festival, New Script series, and productions Deadline: rolling deadline, submit year-round The Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) annually presents 6-8 new plays in readings, workshops and productions during a three-day period. Audiences consist of local playgoers and representatives from theatres nationwide. The 13th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival will take place April 23-25, 2010.

We are committed to live theatre as an art form and to the development of new works. We have largely a suburban audience whose sensibilities and tastes have been developed over a number of years of continued attendance. The audience is loyal, faithful and trusting in our sense of adventure and good taste. Typically, The Willows Theatre Company produces at least one world premiere (or second production) in each season. Likewise, we produce many West Coast or Northern California premieres. We produce exclusively from contemporary American Theatre but will consider certain stylized plays and musicals which have a contemporary edge to them.

Seeking new plays for production in 2009-2010 Virginia Premiere Theatre, a professional company in residence at the Kimball Theatre in Williamsburg, VA, is seeking new, full-length plays to develop and produce. Play requirements: 7 or less characters. Not considering short one-acts, full-scale musicals or published plays. We are considering "pocket musicals" or plays with music. Playwright must be willing to refine script in proactive ensemble approach. We are particularly interested in plays from abroad. Artistic considerations focus on plays of inherent social value, plays with a unique voice and plays with inherent theatricality. We prefer not to review plays that resemble television or film scripts.
