Join us for an evening of monologues by ScriptWorks member playwrights performed by the writers and actor friends. Proceeds will support ScriptWorks activities as a catalyst for new plays.
This ScriptWorks benefit features playwrights reading monologues from their works. “It’s a great event for audiences because playwrights seldom perform in their own plays,” said Christina J. Moore, Executive Artistic Director of ScriptWorks. “ScriptWorks Solos provides a fun opportunity to match writers to their words.”
The monologues will come from new, published, or previously-produced works. Some monologues will be performed by actors chosen by the playwrights.
