It flies especially quickly when that fun is writing a ten-minute play in 48 hours. That is the task ScriptWorks members were charged with during the Weekend Fling writing retreat. And if that isn't challenge enough, they had to also incorporate three random ingredients into their mini opuses.

Sunday, March 27th @ 6:30pm State Theatre, 719 Congress Ave. WHETHER OR NOT by Michael Michaelian and Mark Callum Whether or Not is a two character comedy set in London about a 30 year English gay relationship told backwards in time from the death of one partner to the couple's first meeting in Trafalgar Square. It is very loosely inspired by a somewhat true story and will feature Dennis Bailey and Alan Lester.

THE COWGIRL CHRONICLES : seven plays about life in the South/Southwest, laid down by one author trying to sort it all out.

He has to sort through family secrets, a job that makes him a traitor and being betrayed by the one he loves. Will he choose to protect the stories of the past that had been hidden from him so long, or fight to save his chance for a future family that also may be full of lies?
