July 18th, 2:00pm Austin Playhouse, Larry L. King Theatre Penn Field, 3601 S. Congress Ave. Debutantes & Vagabonds, an Austin non-profit theater company, proudly presents the theatrical premiere of The Virgin w/ 10,000 Arrows written by member Jason Tremblay and directed by Francisco Rodriguez.The production received funding from ASW's Finer Point Fund for new play production and to help us replenish the fund, D&V is donating proceeds from the July 18th matinee to Austin Script Works. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $12 for students and starving artists.

The Off Center, 2211 A Hidalgo St. Tickets: $18 and $15 "It may be summer time, but school is still in session! Loaded Gun Theory and Austin Script Works member Max Langert team up for a zany new comedy about what the teachers are really up to when class is over. School buses run amok, and zombie students attack, but at least there’s plenty of coffee!

Peformance to Benefit ASW

Austin Playhouse is hosting a benefit performance of Cyndi William's Dug Up next Thursday night, October 16th at 8:00. Cyndi is one of the co-founding Core members of ASW and an award-winning playwright and actress. This premiere production of Dug Up received funding from ASW's Finer Point Fund and the benefit will help to replenish the fund.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Bowling with the Bards, a benefit featuring bowling and bowling-related plays to support Pulse Works, the heart of new drama in Central Texas. Expect: retro bowling shirts, shoes that slide, and 1-3 minute plays about America’s favorite indoor sport.
