ScriptWorks is co-presenting a day with the Dramatists Guild on Friday, October 4th at Hyde Park Theatre (511 W. 43rd. St.) from 10am – 5pm. All members and welcomed and encouraged to attend for all or part of the day. Here’s the schedule:
10 – 10:30 AM: Coffee and pastries
10:30 AM – NOON: Town Hall Meeting at Hyde Park Theatre. Panel with Gary Garrison (Executive Director of Creative Affairs) , Seth Cotterman (Manager of Online Media and Service), Roland Tec (Director of Membership at Dramatists Guild), and Sheila Rinear (Austin/San Antonio DG rep). We will explain and explore ways to make your Dramatists Guild membership more useful to you, and discuss relevant issues to dramatists in the Austin/San Antonio communities. Also, recapping the recent National Conference in Chicago.
12 noon – 1:30: Lunch Break and Networking. (The Parlor; New World Deli; Quacks)
1:30 – 2:30: Hyde Park Theatre: Seth Cotterman’s workshop on how to make the DG website work for you.
2:45 – 4:00: Hyde Park Theatre: Roland Tec will give his “How to Write a Killer Synopsis” workshop. Bring one of your synopses that’s giving you trouble.
4:00 – 5:00: Happy Hour across the street at The Parlor!
