Seeking Scripts for The Pacific Playwrights Festival, New Script series, and productions
Deadline: rolling deadline, submit year-round
The Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) annually presents 6-8 new plays in readings, workshops and productions during a three-day period. Audiences consist of local playgoers and representatives from theatres nationwide. The 13th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival will take place April 23-25, 2010.
- SCR accepts submissions for full-length plays, translations and adaptations and works for young audiences (around fourth grade level).
- Submitted plays are considered for possible inclusion in the NewSCRipts series and the Pacific Playwrights Festival, as well as for production on SCR stages.
- Playwrights must submit their work either through established agents or by first sending a query letter, brief synopsis, complete list of characters and ten-page dialogue sample to:
