THE McRAVEN SISTERS by Trace Turner

From talking record players, to bickering old sisters, to cooking shows, to catalog time this play will look, sound, and feel like a wide variety of different moments from the theatrical canon. THE McRAVEN SISTERS is a raucous, campy, and meta-theatrical romp that negotiates with the unique absurdity of extended isolation in your family’s old home. Ella and Annie Murray move us through their day in pseudo-real time, trying to follow a scripted order of events until they have no choice but to break free. With appearances from a handsome doctor, a talking phonograph, and a few ghosts, Ella and Annie take us for an existential ride that leaves us laughing and contemplating our place in the chaos of the world.
