FLING SALON November 21 @ 6:00pm State Theatre, 719 Congress Ave. The November Salon will be the culmination of our Weekend Fling writing retreat where members write 10-minute plays using three arbitrary ingredients over 48 hours. We'll be reading these freshly-inked mini-masterpieces in a Salon that is open to the public.

FronteraFest 2011 Applications Available

It’s that time again! Applications for FronteraFest 2011 are now available. ScriptWorks members should receive applications in via mail, but if they can also be downloaded here or from the Hyde Park Theatre website. If you'd like a hard copy sent to you contact christi-at-scriptworks.org. There’s an “early bird” discount if you apply before October 1 and the application deadline is November 1st. ScriptWorks members may apply for Short Fringe Commissions and receive up to $200 to produce your piece.

FRONTERAFEST 101 A primer in self-producing for the fringe, a workshop taught by Christina J. Moore WHEN: Wednesday, September 15, 7:00 pm WHERE: Hyde Park Theatre 511 W. 43rd St. COST: $5 ASW members; $10 general INFO/RESERVATIONS: christi-at-scriptworks.org ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This workshop, led by ScriptWorks Executive Director and FronteraFest Producer Christina J. Moore, will guide participants through the process of preparing a piece for FronteraFest. From resources for finding actors, directors, and rehearsal space to the ins and outs of the technical rehearsal, we'll cover it all.
